Free Yoga in the Park
June 4, 2016 at Trinity Bellwoods Park, Toronto
Dogs of the Ganges Society hosted free yoga classes at Trinity Bellwoods Park as part of 100in1Day Toronto. This year we also had the pleasure of welcoming Laura from White Light White Heat Animal Reiki, who provided free dog reiki.
About the Instructor: Jessica Waters has been practicing yoga for over five years and began her teaching journey in early 2015. Yoga has taken her around the globe; from Thailand and India to California and of course Canada. Currently, she spends most of her time teaching in Germany. Jessica teaches a gentle Vinyasa flow that encourages a connection to breath and an awareness of body. Mindfulness and compassion is also an important practice of Jessica’s and she hopes to inspire others to choose a like path of consciousness through her yoga classes. When we see her in June she will have recently visited India where she saw first-hand the plight of street dogs there.
